The Keystone Sports Festival: A Look Back
On a Saturday in October 2025, Brookside Park in Pasadena filled with young athletes and their families for the first Keystone Sports Festival — a day of sport, culture and connection, run in two languages from morning to evening.

Challenge Zone
In the Challenge Zone, kids rotated through skill stations — basketball, volleyball, ping pong and more — with bilingual coaches at every stop. Each completed challenge earned a wristband, and collecting them all unlocked a special reward; by afternoon, young wrists were stacked with proof.

Play Zones
Giant inflatables, obstacle courses and climbing challenges kept the energy high all day — every zone staffed and supervised, so kids could go all-out while parents caught their breath.

Silk Road Sports History Zone
Presented by Meihua, the festival's official apparel partner, the Silk Road Sports History Zone brought Chinese sports heritage to life — a tribute to the 1984 Olympic gold, replica apparel, signed volleyballs, medals and memorabilia telling stories of excellence across generations.

Center Stage
Martial arts, traditional dance, sports demos and storytelling ran on Center Stage from morning to close — a rolling showcase of culture in motion.

Food Court & Festival Market
The Food Court served dumplings, skewers, fries and fresh lemonade, while local sports clubs, shops and brands filled the Festival Market with gear, games and things to discover.
