Our notes: Private competitive USA Swimming team; City of El Monte's own Aquatic Teams page describes MAX Aquatics as 'a private competitive USA swimming team offering instruction, training, and physical fitness' operating out of the city's Aquatic Center. New swimmers may attend a tryout Mon-Thu, no appointment needed. 12-and-under group practices 5:20pm Monday-Thursday at El Monte Aquatics Center.
